Today we bring great news… Webhooks are now available in Platformly! This was a highly demanded feature and has been our focus for the past few weeks. Not sure what webhooks are? Webhooks allow you to trigger “payloads” of information from 3rd-party services. This information is then recorded inside your Platformly account. To access the Webhooks section, simply log into your Platformly account, click on “Automation” in the top menu and then on “Webhooks”. To create a new webhook, simply click the “New Webhook” button located at the top right of your screen. At the time this article is being written, only “Incoming Webhooks” are available. “Outgoing Webhooks” are still in development. Let's imagine you run a subscription-based business and use Paddle as a payment processor. For example, when a subscription is created, you could send a webhook from Paddle to Platformly, to add new contacts to the CRM. You will simply need to copy the Platformly webhook URL and paste it in Paddle. Once this is done, you will need to test the webhook: You will have to choose an action, e.g. Add Contact, Update Contact, Add Contact to a Segment, Remove Contact from a Segment, etc. and then; You will have to match the fields, so Platformly knows what's what: Project (compulsory), Contact Email (compulsory), First Name, Last Name, etc. You can also choose specific segments, tags and custom fields during the process. Once everything is in place, you will be able to see when the webhook was last triggered, as well as statistics. Here is a short video that shows you how to set up webhooks in Platformly, using Paddle as an example, but you can use any other service that supports webhooks: How to Setup Webhooks in Platformly Here is another video that shows how to connect Elementor Popups using webhooks: How to Connect Elementor Popups Using Webhooks What are you waiting for?
