Today we're super excited to announce the release of our new page builder! This new builder has been our #1 priority for the past couple of months. We're finally happy with it and hope you will be too! To access this new builder, simply hover over “Forms” in the top menu inside the members area and click on “Pages”. Then click on the “New Landing Page” button. You will first be asked to select a template. There are currently about 35 templates and more will be added soon. If you have specific needs, don't hesitate to click on the “Request a Template” button to tell us what you need. Landing Page Templates If you want to start from scratch, simply click on the “Create New Template” button located at the top. Once you have selected a template, you will be directed to the page builder, where you can modify the template to fit your needs. New Page Builder In the top menu (which is hidden by default), you can name your page, as well as preview it, save it, delete it… These are general settings. New Page Builder (w/ Top Menu Open) As you can see in the screenshot above, there are desktop, mobile and tablet icons at the top right. This means you can change the view from desktop to mobile or tablet and edit the page using these views, so you are sure your page looks good on mobile devices. In the right menu (which is also hidden by default), you can change to a different template, add sections, add elements, change the page layout and access various options, as you can see in the screenshot below. New Page Builder (w/ Right Menu Open) To open this menu, simply hover over it, or click on an element in the template to open the appropriate element options. If you double click on a text element, it will activate the text editor, which means you will be able to make text changes. New Page Builder (w/ Text Editor Open) What else is new in the page builder? First, it is important to note that our main priorities have been user-friendliness of course, as well as speed. We indeed use a CDN (Content Delivery Network) for all images and other types of files. If you decide to host your page with us, it will be hosted on a new domain: plypages.com which is set up on CloudFlare, with WAF (Web Application Firewall) protection. Please note that pages built with the old page builder are now using the new domain. Don't worry though… They are still accessible using old URLs, in case you shared them somewhere. Set Default Page Speaking of domains, if you choose to use a custom domain, you can now set a default page (embed or redirect) for the parent URL of your landing pages. For example, imagine you chose your landing page domain to be pages.domain.com… You will then be able to set your landing pages on URLs like pages.domain.com/landing-page-1, pages.domain.com/landing-page-2, etc. If your visitors visit pages.domain.com, they will see the page you chose to embed or redirect to. That way curious visitors will be directed to the page of your choice, instead of a default web page with no relevant information it. We also took this opportunity to fix a few bugs. For example, we fixed the delete option. In the old builder, you couldn't delete a page. Now you can. Be careful with this feature because deleted pages cannot be retrieved. Update (Sep 28, 2019): Just a quick update to let you know that we've made a few other improvements. We've indeed fixed a few bugs, as well as improved our drag-and-drop functionalities and overall speed. We'll keep improving it so don't hesitate to send us your feedback!
