It's Fall in the Northern Hemisphere and thus it is time for us to give you a quick recap of all the new features and improvements released over the past few weeks. β‘οΈ Just in case you missed it, here is our Summer 2022 update π Let's now talk about the Fall update… Toggle GlobalNew Labeling FeatureEmail MarketingNew Annotation FieldUnsubscribe Text ImprovementsMarketing AutomationNew ShortcutsNew Trigger OptionsCRMNew Fields in Export FunctionOther ImprovementsFilters Now DisplayedSpeed Improvements Global New Labeling Feature We released a new labeling feature which lets you add labels to emails, text messages and push notifications, as well as segments, tags, automations and automation rules. You can create and apply as many labels as you want, and even choose what color your labels should have. You can then filter by label, meaning that if you click on a specific label, the system will show you the list of all entries with that label. Email Marketing New Annotation Field We added a new annotation field to emails, text messages, push notifications and automations, as you can see in the screenshot below: That way, you can easily add notes to your work. For example, you could add a status like “In progress” or “Pending review”. Please note that the annotation is also visible in the editor: Unsubscribe Text Improvements With Platformly, you decide what text should be used as unsubscribe text at the bottom of your emails. We added more keywords to the list of keywords and phrases that are automatically hyperlinked, including “opt out”, “opt-out” and “edit your preferences”. This means that, if you write the following unsubscribe text: “Opt out of future emails”, “Opt out” will be automatically hyperlinked. If the recipient clicks on that link, he or she will be directed to the unsubscribe page. You can find the full list of keywords and phrases that are automatically hyperlinked in this help article. Please note that we also removed the unsubscribe text from the “View Email in Browser” mode. You can read more about the “View Email in Browser” mode in our Winter update from last year. Marketing Automation New Shortcuts We added new buttons to the “My Automations” section, as shown below: Before you had to click multiple times to view stats or edit the automation, but now you can view stats and edit the automation with a simple click of your mouse. We also added new buttons to the email preview in the automation builder, as shown below: You can now edit the email copy, as well as refresh the preview from within the automation builder. New Trigger Options When you select a “Field is Updated” trigger in an automation, you can now use more settings, including: Contains Does Not Contain Is Empty Is Not Empty This allows you to set up much more specific triggers for your automations. CRM New Fields in Export Function As you may know, you can export the contacts in your CRM, in the form of a CSV or TXT file. Before exporting, you can choose which fields you want to include in the file. We added 3 new fields that you can now choose to include or exclude: Contact's Value Contact's Status Unsubscribe Reason Other Improvements Filters Now Displayed The filters you select using our filtering feature are now displayed on the screen, as you can see below: That way, you can easily see what filters you previously selected, without having to re-open the filter modal window. Speed Improvements We also improved the loading speed of the user interface. Tables should load a bit faster now. This is something you will probably notice if your tables contain a lot of data, e.g. a lot of contacts in your CRM. β‘οΈ Click here to log in and check out these new features and improvements.
